Susanne Rowan Obituary

Rowan, Susanne Louise Born October 18, 1958 - September 30, 2020 aged 61 years.
Susanne was born in Russell on October 18th, 1958 to Elsie and Arthur Bowley. She grew up in Binscarth, Manitoba where she lived most of her life. Susanne lived with a fairly large family of three brothers and two sisters namely Rodney, Ken, Norman, Margaret and Rachel. Susanne went to Binscarth to school for her younger years and later went to Russell for her high school. She moved on to be in Russell in her later years and their she was blessed with her first-born son Shawn, in 1978.
Susanne met and fell in love with Ross Rowan on the farm. They were engaged for a short time and then married in 1987. Shortly after their marriage they were blessed with two children, Ryan was born in 1987, and Chelsey was born in 1988. Ross adopted Shawn at a later time. Susanne worked as a cook at the Roblin Motor Inn in and around 1991 until 1995. In 1995, Susanne moved on to take her health care aide course in Russell Manitoba. She worked as a Health Care Aide in Yorkton until accepting a position as switch board operator at the Yorkton Regional Hospital until her health declined and she was  no longer able to work.
Susanne liked to bake and cook for many. You never left her place hungry; she always had some goodies for all who came to visit. Susanne also enjoyed her grand kids, she wasn’t able to run around behind them much, but she enjoyed them in other ways such as conversation and birthday parties, she was always there to lend a ear if one of the kids needed to talk.
