Lenor May Tucker

TUCKER - Lenor May Born May 4, 1926 - June 29, 2021 age 95 years

Lenor May Tucker was born in Detroit, Michigan to Sylvester (Spud) and Annette (Nettie) Sanders. The family moved to Merridale and then to a farm near Roblin; her beloved home where she lived for the rest of her years.

Lenor volunteered with the Roblin Food Bank for many years after retiring from cooking at the Roblin Manor.  She enjoyed cooking at various restaurants in Roblin years prior to this, while farming and raising her family.  She was a fantastic cook, loved gardening and visiting with her friends and family.  She was a member of the Rebekahs, Bible study group, Roblin recycling group, quilting, and was often found playing cards or bingo.

She will be lovingly remembered as a humble woman with a beautiful soul, possessed of a great sense of humour and love for life.  Lenor always had a smile and kind word for everyone and was selfless to a fault. 

She will be deeply missed by Larry, her husband of 75 years, her sister Delores, sister-in-law Eleanor, children Terry, Shirley, Joe (Heather), Delada (Gerry), Leslie and Kathy (Andy), 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by her beloved daughter in law Paula, sons in law Don and Ed, and grandson Chris. 

A full Celebration of Life will be held post pandemic to enable all of her friends and family to honour her remarkable life.

Visitation was held July 3, 2021 from the Chapel of Nairnchyz-Wolkowski Funeral Service.  Funeral Service was held on July 3, 2021 from the chapel of Nairnchyz-Wolkowski funeral Service, Roblin, MB with Father Paul Bisson Officiating.  interment followed at Roblin Community Cemetery, Roblin, MB.
