Edward "Ed" Dobranski

    It is with great sadness announce the passing of Edward (Ed) Adam Dobranski on July 16^th, 2020 in the Grandview Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Ed was born June 18^th, 1958 in Grandview to parents August & Stella Dobranski. He was raised ½ mile south of Highway 5 in the Hillsburg Municipality where he continued to live his life.

   Ed went to Mosvale School then went to Grandview Elementary and High School. After school he wanted to help his family farm and that is how he started his farming career. Ed and his brother Larry cattle & grain farmed until their semi-retirement when they went to only cattle farming. Ed loved gardening and planting a variety of flowers which he planted all around the yard. He loved cooking & baking whether it was for everyone or just Larry and himself. Ed also enjoyed playing the drums with his friends for all different occasions.

   Ed is survived by his brother Larry Dobranski, best friend & companion Brownie of Shortdale, MB, three sisters Rosaline (Fred) Zamonsky of Yorkton, SK, Marlene (Andy) Zamonsky of Grandview, MB, Darlene (Danny) Rydz of Winnipeg, MB, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Ed was predeceased by his parents August & Stella and Uncle Stanley.
