Annette Anna Lachance

Annette Marieanne Lachance, age 106, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Roblin Hospital, Roblin Manitoba.
    She leaves to mourn, her children Yvette Toews, Adrienne Laliberte (Raymond), Gilbert Lachance (Dorothy), and Roland Lachance (Carol), one sister Cecile Pahud, and two brothers, Herve and Armand Mailhot(Rena).  Annette was predeceased by her parents Emery and Marieanne Mailhot, husband Albert, an infant son Florien, her son-in-law Leonard Toews, sisters Yvonne Mayer, Bernadette Laurin, Jean Hogue, Yvette Carriere, Theresa Mailhot and brothers Paul and George Mailhot.
    Annette was born on July 9, 1915 in Gentilly, PQ where she lived for 9 years before moving with her family to Manitoba.  In 1935 she met and married Albert, her spouse of 60 years. They continued to farm at San Clara until their later years when they moved to Roblin in 1995.
     Annette’s strong faith and her family meant the world to her and she was dearly loved by each of her 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 25 great, great grandchildren.  She was a loving woman who searched for and found good in every person and situation she encountered.  
    A prayer vigil will be held at the Nairn Chyz Funeral Home on August 27th at 7:00 pm.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Ste. Claire Parish, San Clara, Mb on August 28 at 11:00 am with internment to follow.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Crocus Court for their many years of caring for our mother. Each one of you will remember her response to your care and attention.  “I like you” or “Je t’aime”!
